Luas Add On Tickets Finally Available From Ticket Machines

After a 2 and a half year wait Rail Users Ireland is happy to note that Irish Rail ticket vending machines can now issue the Luas add on ticket. Irish Rail management gave a committment to complete this within 6 months over 2 and a half years ago.
Simply select 'Dublin City Centre' as your destination and choose if you wish the Bus and Luas option or just Bus, the Bus only option is €1.30 cheaper, but naturally is not valid on Luas.
Those booking online may also avail of this facility by entering 'Dublin City Centre' as their destination or starting point, tickets issued are valid Luas and Bus, be warned however doing so may exclude your booking from certain discounts, so we advise you check but Heuston and Dublin City Centre and make an informed choice.
Rail Users Ireland is currently in correspondance with the Railway Procurement Agency concerning the non-availabilty of Luas + Rail 7 day and 30 day tickets from Luas stops, such tickets for bus services are already available.
