![]() To be fair in most EU cities suburban stations are rarely staffed but there is a much greater security and revenue protection focus. I would have my ticket checked once in a 3 day visit to Berlin happy to bet on it, I can go months without a check in Dublin.
Its the risk of getting caught, and its just not very high in Dublin. Even had Clongiffin been staffed a single staff member would have been no match, the troublemakers are believed to have travelled from another station

![]() Clongiffin has been nothing but trouble since it opened, complete suspension of service post 20.00 should be in place indifferently. If you visited the station you would see its destroyed.
