There's a surprise then! Only difference is this is CIE not a Mickey Mouse outfit like FAS - expect news of resignations and transfers within the Garda Fraud Squad. Remember the Mini-CTC and Horgan's Quay debacles.

Angry

I find it hard to believe that just €1 million is being wasted by Iarnrod Eireann. 10 year backlog of it's projects. Isolated rail lines and light rail lines and a fancy integrated ticketing system that's not needed in the first place.

Exclamation Thread moving politically

Exactly. And unlike Fás a far greater number of people are interested in CIE because they use it every day. But this is moving into politics. On this forum we're rail users, not political pundits, so any discussion beyond these points should be reserved for June 5th when you can send the government a message with your ballot papers.

This case is 1 million has gone missing, not missing it was just spent on things it shouldn't have been.

There is a question over another 1 billion or so as to why what was promised was not exactly what was delivered

The integrated ticketing project wastage occurred at the RPA not IE
