![]() No, you can use the exact same credit card at a vending machine or a booking office and there is no extra charge. In fact it probably costs IÉ more if you buy your ticket from a vending machine or booking office, because they have to maintain the machines and pay staff.

![]() Mk4 on the way back was the same, that said kudos to the ticket checker onboard who offered to bump me to first despite finding 4 seats to myself in standard.
