Belfast-Dublin Enterprise - industrial action Translink affects services, 28th March by Press Office

Iarnród Éireann has advised customers that there will be severe disruption on the Connolly-Belfast Enterprise service on Tuesday 28th March, due to a 24-hour strike by staff at Translink, Northern Ireland’s rail and bus operator.

Only the following services will operate:

07.35hrs Connolly-Belfast will operate to Dundalk only

13.20hrs Connolly-Belfast will operate to Dundalk only

10.30hrs Belfast-Connolly will operate from Dundalk only at 11.38hrs

16.10hrs Belfast-Connolly will operate from Dundalk only at 17.17hrs

20.10hrs Belfast-Connolly will operate from Dundalk only at 21.18hrs

First Plus services will be suspended and catering will only be available on the above services.

Whilst all Dundalk/Drogheda to Dublin commuter services will operate, customers should note that the 06.50hrs Belfast-Connolly service, which serves Dundalk at 07.57hrs and Drogheda at 08.20hrs, is cancelled.

Iarnród Éireann apologises to customers for the inconvenience caused.

Note all Translink services, trains and buses are on strike so there is no bus transfer northwards

Bus Éireann services to/from locations in Northern Ireland operated in conjunction with Translink will be affected.

ALL SERVICES CANCELLED ON THE FOLLOWING ROUTES:

Derry/Longford
Other Bus Éireann services operating via locations in Northern Ireland will operate. ALL BUS ÉIREANN SERVICES ON THE FOLLOWING ROUTES WILL OPERATE AS NORMAL

Dublin/Donegal
Dublin/Letterkenny
Galway/Sligo/Derry
Sligo/Enniskillen
Dublin/Dundalk/Newry local services
Strabane/Ballybofey local services
Strabane/Letterkenny local services
THERE WILL BE NO ONWARD CONNECTIONS BETWEEN ATHLONE, DERRY, ENNISKILLEN, NEWRY AND LOCATIONS IN NORTHERN IRELAND.
