Trams were once a familiar sight on the streets of the capital. It is interesting to now look at how the trams of the past once served Dublin’s citizens and how trams are again being called upon to solve the Dublin’s transportation problems.
Michael Corcoran will talk about the historical rise and fall of the City’s trams.
Michael Sheedy will focus on the modern. He will outline the issues associated with the installation of a modern tram system in a congested city and how these trams will serve the population for decades to come.
