Any idea what happened? That verbiage usually suggests a one-under

Term one under is not used in Ireland, its a London term.

There is nothing wrong with stating the facts of what happened. Irish Rail are less than up front with telling you what went wrong. In light of the right to refunds, incident needs to be clarified.

What would be insensitive would be to state or speculate as to the cause of the incident in the first place. We never do and never will.

Road traffic accidents are referred to exactly the same.

"Male vs dart" goes beyond stating the facts of what happened.

You will never find anyone refer to a car accident as "male/female/child vs car".

But fair enough, it's your site.

They media always do,

http://www.railusers.ie/forum/showpo...23&postcount=2

Don't see the point in any of this fuss, facts of the matter stated clearly, no speculation. Incident could mean anything Fully inline with standard media reporting practice
