Now we all knew about this but the notice is missing some key details

So the 18:40 to Thurles is cancelled, well its not a train will leave Heuston at 18:40 and call at Hazelhatch, Sallins, Kildare, Portarlington, Portloaise, Ballybrophy, Templemore and Thurles

Its actually the 18:30 to Tralee note IE don't say that in the notice

Engineering Works Cherryville Junction/Portlaoise by Corporate Communications

Due to Track Improvement Works between Cherryville Junction and Portlaoise on Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th June 2007, Iarnrod Eireann regret to advise the following arrangements have been put in place:

Saturday 16th June

18.40 Hrs. service Heuston to Thurles is cancelled

21.10 Hrs. service Thurles to Heuston service is cancelled

20.00 Hrs. Heuston to Cork service will be bus transfers from Heuston to Portlaoise and by train from Portlaoise to Cork. Train will depart Portlaoise at 21.30.

21.00 Hrs. Heuston to Cork service will be bus transfers from Heuston to Portlaoise and by train from Portlaoise to Cork. Train will depart Portlaoise at 22.30.

18.30 Hrs. Cork to Heuston service will operate to Portlaoise only. Bus transfers will operate from Portlaoise to Heuston.

18.30 Hrs. Cork to Heuston service will operate to Portlaoise only. Bus transfers will operate from Portlaoise to Heuston.

19.30 Hrs. Cork to Heuston service will operate to Portlaoise only. Bus transfers will operate from Portlaoise to Heuston.

18.05 Hrs. Westport to Heuston service will operate to Athlone only. Bus transfers will operate from Athlone to Clara, Tullamore, Portarlington and Heuston.

Sunday 17th June 2007

08.10 Heuston to Tralee service will be bus transfers from Heuston to Portaloise and by train from Portlaoise to Tralee. Train will depart Portlaoise at 09.40.

08.40 Hrs. Heuston to Galway service will be bus transfers from Heuston to Kildare, Portarlington, Tullamore, Clara and Athlone and by train from Athlone to Galway. Train will depart Athlone at 10.40.
