[10-1-2006] Delays ex Heuston Monday

The 17:10 Heuston Athlone failed for what appear to be technical reasons near Sallins

Reports indicate the train was left parked in the emergency loop while other trains passed by needlessly delaying passengers particularly for Newbridge and Kildare who had to wait some time to disembark

The result of this would have a knock on effect on services to/from Galway/Westport/Athlone
