Engineering works between Portarlington & Geashill on Sat 7th & Sun 8th December

Due to Engineering works between Portarlington and Geashill on Saturday 7th & Sunday 8th December, the following service alterations will take place;

Saturday 7th
•18:15hrs Westport to Heuston will operate to Athlone only with an onward bus connection to Clara, Tullamore, Portarlington and Dublin Heuston.
•19:20hrs Galway to Heuston will operate to Athlone only with an onward bus connection to Clara, Tullamore, Portarlington and Dublin Heuston.
•19:35hrs Heuston to Galway will operate to Portarlington with an onward bus connection to Tullamore and Athlone and then by a second train from Athlone to Galway.

Sunday 8th
•08:00hrs Heuston to Galway will operate as a bus connection to Kildare, Portarlington, Tullamore, Clara and Athlone and by a train from Athlone to Galway.
•09:40hrs Athlone to Westport is deferred until 09:45hrs.
