Default [15/02/2013 7pm Delays on Northern Suburban line

Nothing on Irishrail.ie, or realtime checker, or on LED displays, or by CTC announcements, or by station announcements (at least in Pearse) or on train (at least 19.13 ex Pearse to Drogheda).
But there were 100% 20 min delays to Northbound DARTs and Northern suburban trains and in particular to 19.13 exPearse. Staff on northbound staff had no idea why after 20 mins the Drogheda train had not arrived. So I walked over via subway to southbound ticket gate. He advised Gardai had suspended services on the Northside, but did not know why. He also agreed to one had bothered to tell the passengers, and said 'control' are too busy to make any announcements
I asked him to ring them while I waited to ask them to make announcements. So while I stood there with him (to say he was unimpressed!), he then told me the next southbound train would actually pull in on the northbound platform so I should head straight over there. Which I did.
Still no announcements . Joke!
