![]() Suspect the fact that the train was "unfit for purpose" was the issue rather than low adhesion. Anybody care to guess how many traction units were operational on the stalled train ?
In addition to the usual hassles with a failure, the Docklands line retains catch points which makes wrong direction movements somewhat tricky. I understand the train was eventually recovered by a reversal along the outgoing line. |
