![]() Fergus O'Dowd and Barry Kenny were just on Morning Ireland talking about this.
Barry's constructive answer was and I am paraphrasing : "Shane Ross only attends hearings that suit his editorial views, ignores the facts and is perusing a witch hunt against Irish Rail". Pretty strong stuff from someone who lacks parliamentary privilege. Obviously Shane Ross is asking the right questions. The show will be up on the RTE website later on. |

![]() Shane Ross has to his credit exposed some very strange goings on and thanks to his oireachtas privilege is one of the very few journalists who can stand up to the CIE regime. The witch hunt is getting results as there are things to find.
There is an awful lot more to come out into public, but any editor will be wary of it as Irish Rail naturally will deny everything. Shane Ross is clearly in the loop on the latest embarrassing incident inside IE. We have discussed the need to restructure IE/CIE with Fergus O'Dowd in the past and there is no question CIE as an entity has to go.
