![]() ![]() Even this bus is too big for the job. For only 2-3 passengers average they should just hire a taxi |

![]() Even worse, if they adhere to the train schedule the poor old bus driver will be either beetling along or will have to idle at stations for a while.
When is there going to be a feckin' reshuffle so the bleeding can be staunched? To think that M3 Parkway was shoved into a bay off peak to save money, a double track 176m platform line, while a labour intensive ETS section where the few passing loops have no usable platforms remains open. |

![]() Whatever about taking a through train from Hansfield during the peak hours, taking a train from Hansfield to Clonsilla for a few hundred meters and then changing to another train to Connolly which probably arrives 5 or 6 minutes later is daft. Much easier to walk, cycle, drive to Clonsilla.
Maybe when there are plenty of houses right next to Hansfield station things will be better, but that isn't going to happen for a while. Station should have been left mothballed and as a memorial to Celtic Tiger follies. |

![]() given the local minister for transport and the big lobbying going on in the ares that was never going to happen. be interesting if those who lobbied will use it.
in that regard the two lines may have more in common than you think. |
