![]() After 3 months, the free parking has come to an end at the stations in East Cork. The car parks are once again barren.

![]() Even though there was free parking available for the last 3 months at Midleton/Carrigtwohill/Glounthaune/Little Island stations, signs still indicated "Have you payed and displayed?". These were displayed around the fencing of the car park. Only when attempting to purchase a ticket did the customer see a black plastic bag wrapped around it with a notice indicating the free parking.
I do not have a car count, but noted that Midleton had definitely an increase in car park usage, but to a greater extend Glounthaune: cars are normally parked outside the gates at Glounthaune, along both sides of the road. Situation there over the last 3 months was the same, but now with the car park full-enough as well. Little Island saw an increase in usage as well, but not to the same level. |

![]() http://www.ncps.ie/ NCPS operate the car park in Midleton. Just phone them up and explain the delay and they can apply the extra charge over the phone.
