![]() I can only imagine its a joint emergency services-Irish Rail exercise.
As Waterford-Rosslare is closed, there isn't a particular need to have an exercise there.

![]() Think it has to be something to do with getting to the line in an emergency. No level crossing and very limited road access to the rail ine.
Could they reviewing the way in which they handled the insident a while ago when it took quiet some time to for staff to get to the train. |

![]() The emergency exercise was to test response times to reach a train if an accident has happened and as Colm said it was a joint exercise and it was ment to affect passengers services as would happen in a real emergency.
