LUAS seems to not always make the "Next Stop" announcement. Noticed it a lot recently on the green line. Station announcements work fine.

Pleasantly surprised with the onboard announcement on my northbound dart destined for Malahide on Tuesday evening. Left Connolly with an amber aspect shortly before 7pm before coming to a halt on the bridge over the canal. Within 30 seconds, the driver announced we would delayed by a couple of minutes. The driver said something along the lines of "We're going to be stopped here for a few minutes as we are just waiting for the Belfast express to pass by. It's due to leave Connolly at 7pm and once it clears through Clontarf Road, we'll be on our way". However, a Sligo Commuter 29000 passed by first as the Enterprise was running a few minutes late. An inbound from the Maynooth line also passed. What happened after the Sligo train passed was that we moved on to the next signal on the main northern line and as we were approaching the red aspect near Eastwall Bridge, the Enterprise passed us by on the southbound line, basically overtaking us. It was obviously just a very busy few mintes. The simple announcement made by the driver made the situation all the more bearable despite being delayed by almost 10 minutes - At least we weren't in the dark!!!!
