Well, it's progress of sorts, but they might consider providing a service in the other direction too!
Seeing that they have to get the bus to Kent Station to operate the service, perhaps extending the 16:15 from Goleen to provide a connection to the 19:30 might be an option. |

Funny how West Cork has a connection to the train but the "replacement" service in Waterford runs to the bus terminus, not the train station.
