Default [01/06/2010] Expect Sligo line delays for the next couple of weeks

I should think we'll have low level disruption for the next couple of weeks as it looks like they are working on automating at least one level crossing about 4 miles down from Mullingar. The last time they were at this, we were at least 10 minutes late on the evening trains for the duration.

We had a 20-25 minute delay on the 1805 from Connolly yesterday and 5-10 on the 0545 from Sligo this morning. And we crossed trains in the wrong places yesterday so it has obviously knocked on delays all day.

Still, it is worthwhile getting this done. There is nothing worse than freezing your ass off on a platform for an hour on a January morning because one level crossing operator's car wouldn't start.
