![]() Must have been some rain last night! Must have been pretty bad to close dun laoghaire booterstown that hasnt happened in a long time! (that section back open by the way)

![]() the section between DL and Dalkey however closes anytime theres a few drops of rain - could they not do something about the drainage there (and the ridiculous walking-pace linespeed while they're at it).

![]() A huge amount of work was done in 2000 to fix the drainage, it worked for a few years and then trouble started. The line should not flood

![]() Well, if they kept the drains clean, it might help. I'm not sure exactly where floods (I had a look recently), but a lot of the drains around Sandycove could do with the removal of grit, dirt and litter.
