Default New ticket barriers at Coolmine

According to notices up around the station, these are going in from Tuesday 6th MAy (AFAIK), so the little booth on the Southbound platform is no more from next week... Bummer for anyone coming from Clonsilla direction

but for anyone who has a monthly/yearly ticket from next week no problems with gates. I reported that problem to myles at the meeting. good to see something done about it! Doesn't neccessarily mean the ticket booth will disappear!

Its gone, vending machines promised. Bugger,with lc gates closed for two/three trains for someone needing a ticket on Coolmine side of rails

I could be wrong but it looks like they are building a shelter like the one on the northbound platform at sandymount the bricks etc are there. It doesnt look like exit validation though.

Its probably going to be a simple 1 or 2 TVM setup with 3 standard turnstiles
