did i not read when the luas started that the expectancy for that level of tramwork was one death a year?

Well if the Luas operated as elsewhere in Europe that would be the case, but its driven ultra conservatively in Dublin

The eight was actually the first, motorist at unsignaled junction on Harcourt Street on the first morning pulled out and was clipped by a tram

They are running a poster campaign in Dublin about traffic and the LUAS at the moment.
