Default [1-7-2009] DART and Gorey Commuter services heavily delayed

st July: DART and Gorey Commuter delays by Corporate Communications

1st July 2009, 07.20hrs

DART services in both directions and Gorey Commuter services face delays of 20-25 minutes this morning due to a mechanical fault on a DART train at Booterstown.

Staff are attending the fault at present. However, it is expected the delays will continue throughout the morning peak.

Iarnród Éireann apologises for the inconvenience caused.
Delays are pushing up to 40 minutes currently in the case of the 6:00 from Gorey

A 22K train that I assume was the 0600 from Gorey crawled through Sandymount at 0824.
