![]() Travelled to Dublin on the 07.30 yesterday. Only 4 regular carriages + dining car & city gold.
Departing Cork there was very sporadic seating availability - 5/6 per carriage. Train was full by Mallow. From Limerick Jct there were 30/40 passengers standing/sitting between carriages Great to see a full service but not so great for those who boarded at LimJct Fifth carriage should be reinstated especially when the train is advanced to 07.00 in January |

![]() There seems to be a random allocation of sets to services. In practice, whichever sets are missing a carriage should never be on the 07:30 ex Cork or 17:00 ex Dublin. Those two services are just too busy.

![]() The 6 piece set will have the extra carriage put back very soon, IE have it ready with an 071 loco joined to move it when they decided to do it.

![]() In Heuston there was 2 Mark 4 sets at the sidings of platform 8 and both had 8 coaches and not the normal 7. Do they hope numbers will grow with new journey times?
