worth noting maynooth services will be generally hourly, last train 20:43 ex pearse. a bit better.

also on weekdays from january a 19:29 pearse-maynooth service

looks like maynooth is getting a few extra services from january 2008

Mark one of the things i noticed is that a few of the current docklands trains will now go to connolly with one even going to pearse. Looks like the major changes on the maynooth line for both weekdays and the later sunday services will come into effect 21st january 2008

The 19:29 will be a very handy addition.

Default AWOL Train

The 17:40 Rosslare - Drogheda train goes AWOL from the timetable if you put in any station after Wicklow as the destination. Looks like it hasn't been fully programmed into the on-line timetable (it doesn't even work if you put in Drogheda as the destination yet it lists Drogheda as the destination).

it loses Sallins and Portarlington alright. however it will not stop as Ballybrophy as I said (and had heard). pity because Ballybrophy is very badly serviced as it stands. it would be handy for me, 5 mins up the road as opposed to driving into Portlaoise. but it will stop at portlaoise, mono and kildare.

the 06:30am service departing from Portlaoise is definately running, arriving into Heuston at 07:40am, check the online timetable.

I noticed this Rosslare/Dublin Connolly then change to the Belfast Enterprise when the 17:40 is a direct train.

Does the Enterprise travel in the wrong track to do this?

The commuter service uses the wrong track from just south of Skerries until just before Ballbriggan, the signalling between Skerries and Ballbriggan was specially designed to allow this

Lucky Enterprise at least that service gets treated like an InterCity Route.

I've just noticed from the new timetable that the 13:05 Dublin/Rosslare service is the quickest by 1hr38mins from all of the 5-trains out of Connolly. Mark I'm asking a bit much of you here, The Dublin/Rosslare in distance is it not the longest by time in all of Ireland to cover the 105miles to Rosslare.
