Default A cable car on the liffey? are they having a laugh?

Somehow I missed this one when it was mooted in early 2006 but apparently the SUAS is going for a spot in the Strategic Infrastructure docket of ABP. I could see maybe a cable car linking the north and south of docklands maybe where heights are higher but this sounds like a dumb idea. I mean, they wouldn't have it in the way if it was something useful like a fibre or power cable but to carry people on a jolly it's ok??

[does this count as infrastructure? I guess it's the bums rush to the members section if so...]
