(29-9-7) Northern Commuter
Trouble tonight on the same service as last night. Signal troubles at Connolly, delays of up to 20 minutes. 1915 Pearse Drogheda is starting from Connolly although God knows when.
Surely it can't be that difficult to run a proper train service! |

A 2900 (0) commuter left platform 7 to Drogheda at half seven. They also said thst it was 10minutes late.I presume this was the is the 19.15 service from pearse to Drogheda that was moved to Connolly. Also the two minutes before the 19.31 service to Greystones they announced that it was going to depart from platform 5 and not platform 6.I felt this was very short notice especially for mobility impaired passengers though I think that no one missed this train due to the platform change. The pa announcments were perfect and the platform displays kept up. |
