Not surprised. The 18.05 (late boarding for the 3rd day in a row with apologies but no explanations) crawled to Port, the PA is very hard to hear on the last carriage, I think an earlier train was being blamed.

Just the usual passenger numbers but strung out across the station.
Crowd management seems to be beyond IE. If they tighted up the queue it wouldn't have stretched from platform 2, around by the shop, easons and on to the customer service desk. Happens if they don't get passengers boarding by 18:00. In this case it seemed like they needed the engine that pulled the Galway train elsewhere so the train was pulled back out to let the engine pass. The train was then returned to the platform. That train has a very short turnaround time before queues build up. About 10 mins After that it was just the slowness as funki said. kevin |
