![]() Does anyone know if the VAT reduction applies to food and drink sold on trains?
Because it would seem it hasn't been applied. |

![]() VAT onboard trains was always a higher rate than the normal rate in shops/restaurants.
In that case I don't think reduction applies to rail catering (or indeed inflight catering)

![]() Should affect intercity but not Enterprise, as there is an exemption for food and drink served on international public transport for immediate consumption.
