![]() This poped up on Firday last as usual little notice, but a rather scary move to disrupt normal weekday commuter services
What ever happened to 4 weeks notice ?? Quote:

![]() This is strange. Why is the 1840 only going to Portloaise? And how come there are no mention of bus transfers?

![]() The 19:00 to Cork will stop in Ballybrophy and Templemore, of course IE won't tell you that upfront
The 18:40 goes only to Portloaise such that it gets back to Dublin before the line closes shortly after 8:45pm |

![]() Ah yes.
Well, the fact that the 1940 is the last train to Templemore and Ballybrophy should mean that IE should spell it out in black and white in their announcement that the 1900 will take them. What they wont say is that this is being done for sake of the staff getting the train back and not the passengers getting home. However, we are perhap smaking a mistake. Maybe there is no bus transfer and the 19.00 train is not stopping in Ballybrophy or Templemore and those passengers can go to hell. |

![]() Its shown on the internet timetable for July 12th only the 19:00 calls Ballybrophy and Templemore
Of course hot money is on the PIS not knowing about this just to confuse people evening more Its a bit like the cancelled 18:40 to Thurles on a Saturday, strangely if you show up a train does depart at 18:40 calling all stops that the cancelled 18:40 calls at |
