Default Full rail service operates Friday 1st May - Advice for rail customers

Quote:

Full rail service operates Friday 1st May - Advice for rail customers

30 April 2015

A full service will operate on all routes on Friday 1st May. Iarnród Éireann services will not be affected by the industrial action in Dublin Bus and Bus Éireann.

Iarnród Éireann is reminding customers that the full advertised rail service will operate on all routes on Friday 1st May and Saturday 2nd May (revised times on services to and from Heuston on 2nd May to facilitate line works).

Rail services will not be affected by the industrial action in Dublin Bus and Bus Éireann on these dates.

Advice for rail travel Friday 1st May

A full rail service will operate on all Iarnród Éireann routes (DART, Commuter and Intercity) on Friday 1st May.

Iarnród Éireann advises customers:

All scheduled services will operate on all routes.
On DART and Commuter routes, demand is expected to be extremely high at peak times, particularly:
services arriving in Dublin city centre between 08.00hrs and 09.00hrs
services departing Dublin city centre between 17.00hrs and 18.30hrs.
Customers who have flexibility in travel arrangements are advised to travel outside these hours.
On Intercity services, demand is expected to be extremely high from 13.00hrs to 20.00hrs. Customers who have flexibility in travel arrangements are advised to travel outside these hours. Online booking in advance from the journey planner above is strongly advised.
We regret that Dublin Bus and Bus Éireann tickets, including season tickets, are not valid on Iarnród Éireann services.
