![]() 6:30 Drogheda Pearse was 17 minutes late leaving Drogheda due to a train failure
Around 7:30 points failure at Malahide Chaos and as usual not a peep from IE to say what happened

![]() 100% agree about a complete communication breakdown.
Earlier the 6.30 failed at Drogheda. Replacement service supplied 15 minutes later (good turn around time, but there really are a lot of train failures lately) Then around 7.30am points failure at Malahide. Not a single announcement on the 07.12 ex Drogheda as we sat for 10 mins north of Malahide, and another 10 minutes outside Connolly. Yet again I rang Connolly information who confirmed they had numerous people complaining about the drivers refusing to make announcements. As always, 'we'll pass on your feedback' ![]() I actually rang up as we sat at Clontarf Road, and asked them to ask the driver to make announcements...Not a peep...
