Thumbs up Free WIFI

As of Wednesday morning free wifi is available at Connolly and Heuston. Was one of the first to try it out in Connolly on Wednesday

Collect a card from the customer service desk

Will be rolled out to Cork, Tralee, Limerick, Galway, Westport, Sligo, Waterford and Rosslare Europort. Other stations possibly Athlone and Limerick Junction.

I'm guessing the Europort service will be for ferry customers though, yes?

if its free, why do you need to collect a card - is it password protected, or is the card just a list of instructions? Where in the station is it available? Any prospect of it being added to Pearse?

Currently you need to collect the card for access details. In the future they won't be needed.

wifi covers concourse at all stations plus some of the platforms.

Pearse is not on the list, only intercity terminus stations
