Win tickets to the Irish Open!

The 3 Irish Open returns to Killarney Golf and Fishing Club between 29th July and 1st August with over 80,000 visitors expected to cheer on many of the world’s best golfers.

And it's easier than ever to get there - book online at www.irishrail.ie with fares starting at €10 each way between Dublin and Killarney. In Cork and Kerry, we've got a €10 day return from Cork or Tralee to Killarney, available from the booking office. In addition, a shuttle bus is running between the train station and the course for golf fans arriving from around the country.

Fáilte Ireland are destination sponsors of this great event and have supported Killarney to ensure that visitors to the area can come and enjoy not just the great golf but a host of activities and entertainment for all ages.

An electric festival of golf will be created during the tournament offering an abundance of organised activities and free entertainment which will appeal to all the family, no matter what age.

In the lead up to and during the 3 Irish Open, Killarney will host its annual festival, Summerfest, showcasing the very best of Killarney and will focus on daytime and early evening activities for all the family.

For those with a limited interest in the events on the golf course, there will be a range of daytime activities including outdoor events, as well as arts and craft workshops for kids. As the sun goes down, there will be nightly entertainment from 6pm to 10pm throughout the streets of Killarney.

Visit www.discoverireland.ie/golf for a list of great special offers in Killarney over this period, to get further details of the full festival programme and details on how to purchase tickets for this ‘must see’ event.
