I luckily avoid the 1705 service to Sligo yesterday as it left 90 minutes late according to @IrishRail. The same service (which normally uses the same set for a few days running) was held at Maynooth due to a mechanical fault for half an hour on Tuesday.

This all seems very shoddy.
