In other classes there are power sockets at each end of the carriage.

So people with laptops try and take the end seats, but for example on the lavatory end of the Mk4 carriages there is at least 6 feet between the seat and the socket.

I predict that after the first person trips over a laptop power cord and sues Iarnrod Eireann they will not be allowed use them there any more

[ I nearly tripped yesterday and got a vicious look from the laptop owner ]
