While the 29000s may be mechanically very reliable, the overall service in the GDA leaves a huge amount to be desired. It is a terrible rail service that is extremely slow and with regular delays....

29000 DMUs - Poor Condition
Have IE any plans to refurbish the 29000 DMUs? I use these trains daily and most of them appear to have a very poor external appearance where there is evidence of filling and the paintwork is missing...

The on train ones do not show the airport connections from Heuston(748), Busaras(747), Tara Street(747). Poor ommission I think. Lets not go near the whole luas green line thing!!

Ok so I took a wander down to Docklands Station the other day. The station itself is in my opinion very nice. Hopefully the local gurriers will not ruin it. I made a few observations while there.

Heuston does not necesserily have to be a zonal boundary. It depends where the zones are set. Look at the central zone in Paris, it covers the whole metro almost, then the RER goes out into the outer...
