More Trouble Brewing in Cork and elsewhere

Information is reaching us that there remains major troubles in Cork and elsewhere with respect to the introduction of the new Cork Dublin Express trains on at least two separate fronts

We are aware that a proposal tabled recently to resolve one of the issues has been rejected by the staff involved

This is a mirror of what happened last March and look what happened

As it stands there is only one set in service running only 540 km a day, normal sets do over 800 km, only 2 of the 16 odd departures are the new train, 3 of the sets are in a usable state thats enough to cover 60% of all departures however they remain idle which is unacceptable as the existing coaches have become increasingly incident prone leading to serious delays

Just what are those "major troubles" that are holding tehe system to ransom? Thanks!

This is absolutely ridiculous. These endless delays are just going to damage the successful re-launch of the Cork-Dublin service.

What are their issues?

Is it just that they're incapable / unwilling to operate the higher levels of customer service required on board?

Is it that they've developed pointytrainaphobia?
