Sometimes Irish Rail do things that leave any normal sane person wondering "what was the point of that?"

Tonight the train that went to Sligo as the 19:05 was sitting in Connoly P1 for 25 minutes until 19:05 when it moved to P4. Everybody was told to stay at P4 to board.

This movement held up everything (Enterprise, 2 Darts and another commuter train) for whatever reason I don't know. This train has left from P1 many times.

Because it was so late arriving into P4, the Maynooth commuter train went in front of it so I have no idea how late it was.

Agreed. After a summer free of catastrophes, they've had quite a few bad days over the past two weeks.

I presume we'll have 15% less cock ups next year to compensate for the 15% rise in our tickets.
