Dublin area floods, service update by Corporate Communications
Tuesday 25th October - 00.10hrs

Following major service disruption to DART, Northern Commuter and Maynooth Commuter services, as well as Sligo, Rosslare and Belfast Intercity services on Monday 24th October, we are working overnight to ensure that as many services as possible can operate today Tuesday 25th October.

We expect to update this website and our twitter account http://twitter.com/irishrail from approx 05.30hrs with service information.

As well as requiring flood waters to recede from rail lines themselves, we will also be assessing flood damage to relay rooms which control track circuits and interlocking.

We apologise for the disruption on Monday, and thank customers for their patience and understanding.

Is anyone aware of how bad broombridge is at this stage? Has the water levels subsided much? It looked really bad based on that photo Karl linked to yesterday.
