Work is currenlty ongoing to be completed by 2009.
Link both lines, Line BX
Route still undecided, but O'Connell Street is not favoured by many. A credible alternative is a new bridge linking Hawkins Street and Marlborough Street. This may be built to avoid yet more disruption on O'Connell Street.
While 2008 was given as the completion date this project has been merged with line D O'Connell Street to Liffey Junction.
Tallaght Citywest, Line A1
A short line costed at €36 million starting from the Cookstown stop on the current Red Line running to Citywest. To be in place by 2010. This is a private venture supported and paid for by several business owners along the route the line will serve.

City Liffey Junction, Line D
Line from the city centre to Broadstone then using the former MGWR rail alignment parallel to Phibsborough Road to Liffey Junction. This will serve Grangegorman, the site of the new DIT campus. This line will link with the Maynooth Line. Line D1 Liffey Junction to Finglas is proposed for study in Transport 21.
Completed by 2012
Cherrywood Bray, Line B2
Details not fully known but appears to require a new viaduct across Bride's Glen south of Cherrywood. The existing viaduct is still in place however due to a complete lack of thought an office block was built obstructing the original alignment.
The route consultation process is currently underway, details of which are contained in a recent RPA newsletter
