From the Irish Rail Website !

"Dublin and Limerick are connected by rail directly (Nenagh branch line) and indirectly (via Limerick Jct.). The direct route serves Roscrea, Cloughjordan, Nenagh, Birdhill, and Castleconnell."

Which is the correct description as Nenagh was always the mainline

Doesn't imply that all trains will go that way
