PA Bug- can it be fixed

There is a problem with the automatic PA announcements on all 22k units operating on the Docklands-M3 Parkway services. The clip that should play for the Irish name of Hansfield Station is a horrible electronic noise instead. I have attached a recording below(caution, don't listen at high volume).

This has been ongoing for a few weeks, can we get it fixed?

Could we get a bump on this? This issue is ongoing and is incredibly annoying for daily commuters. Some drivers are silencing the announcements which they shouldn't have to do.

Could also do without the stream of announcements about prebooked seats and "all persons not intending to travel please disembark"

Well, the 29Ks have had a bug since they've been introduced at Edgeworthstown where they announce Longford while passing the Dublin-side signal.

I'm guessing it is possible to fix them, but in the great Irish Rail spirit of "That'll do", nobody can be bothered.

Of course, the other question that comes to mind is what the hell a 22k is doing going to Dunboyne.

That has also been raised, could in fact be the solution don't use 22k...

This appears to have been fixed in the last month or so.

Today on a 29000 service no announcement was made for Hansfeild, from Clonsilla the announcement said 'Next station Dunboyne'. Also noted in Connolly the station announcement did not list Navan Road Parkway as a stop on the Maynooth service.

Oranmore is another one, not included on 22 (last time on a Galway service) or the Heuston PA system.
