Default Heuston - Platform 2 Displays

There are 2 digital displays for platform 2, one where the barriers start and another on the wall down where you queue for platform 1.

You get a lot of people for the 18:25 waterford train (platform 2) getting turned back by the platform 1 ticket checker because of it.

I saw yesterday that the second one has been covered up (with some black bin-bags)

Finally a bit of sense prevailing, maybe

originally when I saw the display on the wall on the platform 1 side I thought it was a display for platform1. This is really what it should be. There are 2 distinct gates. I should be clearly marked 1 and the other should be clearly marked 2. And the info screens should correspond to the relevant gates.

How is this difficult for Irish Rail to figure out
