Due to operational difficulties, the 1650 service from Dublin Connolly to Belfast Central has been delayed by 40 minutes. This service is now due to arrive in Belfast at approximately 1930.

Why

The train failed to stop in Dundalk, halted north of Dundalk and reversed slowly to Dundalk before proceeding to Belfast

Reports posted here suggest a 20 minute late arrival in Dundalk
