Default Trains passing at speed through Heuston Station!!!

Apparently they do. While walking along platform 2 yesterday morning, my eagle eyed wife, Louise, spotted the signs. "Please stand behind the yellow line, trains may pass at speed." I loved what she said next, "I bloody well hope not." This is such a lazy approach to safety notification. Obviously it makes sense to stand behind the line, only because a train may be in motion, but it'll be fairly slow anyway as it either enters or leaves the platform. But in saying that passengers aren't permitted on the platform at that stage anyway. The only possibility that arises is if passengers are walking to or from platform 1. So the sign should read, "please keep behind the yellow line. Trains may be in motion."

Dippo's the lot of them.

I have a photo, but I think you get the point.

Im a double agent now.

As explained in a text reply to you, just moments ago, the photo is funny. Unlike those posted by the geeks, nerds and weirdos that usually frequent railway based web sites. I havent got permission yet, but my wife and baby posed in front of the sign in a mock screaming in terror pose. Just for a laugh as it is laughable.

Infract me all you want Tom. If that policy is to be applied, you'd clear out a hell of a lot of members on this forum. Wink wink and nod nod and all that. By the way, is infraction a new kind of kinky sex? Sounds good.

I'm far more kinkier than you................. and you know it!!!

Oh, I dont know, train paint schemes, this thread, we'll clear them out Domestos style soon enough.

Actually, haven't posted on the Deadbeat Dad Site in ages. Then again, Daddy did recently, and indeed, informantly, note that all 29000 trains look the same.

Not in three years they wont, they'll be all in various stages of decrepitude.

Cannot wait for your deliverence!!
