Default [13/08/09] 1400 Heuston-Cork

This service is running at least half an hour late and is using a mark 3 set. Presumably connected to the late arrival of the 1030 Cork-Heuston. Reservations are not being honoured, and as it's one of the services with €10 tickets, it's excessively busy.

Passengers queued for up to an hour at platform 5, but the train was changed to platform 4, and it became every man for himself.

Passengers without seats are being advised to travel on the 1500 service at no extra charge.

Any person who arrives more than an hour late at their final destination station, whether this is on the 1400 service or otherwise, is entitled to a 50% refund.

It would appear from the below that anyone who was told by IÉ staff to get on the 1500 train can claim their €10 back as well. What do you think?

If you reserved a seat and Iarnród Éireann are unable to provide you with a seat and no other seat of similar standard on the same service is available for you, you are entitled to a full refund of the single fare

State "reserved seat not honored" or "train full, reserved seat not honored, travelled later service"
