So the delays are in Kildare, but the padding is added between Mallow and Cork.
Isn't it great when punctuality is only measured at the terminus station? |

Will this help the OTP stats yes however considering 10 minutes after scheduled arrival is on time not sure it will have a major impact overall other than save customer service responding to delay complaints.
