Telesales is the backup solution if the website refuses to play ball.

Its similar to the previous bug, but difference.

Waterford, Sligo, Rosslare, Galway are not offering faircard returns. Faircard singles still available.

Sounds like a bug around ticket type 141 (16-25 Railcard Economy).

just noticed this thread.

I have a Bus Eireann annual ticket that incorporates Cork/Cobh rail.

Wondering if this will confer me with eligibility ?

That should be fine, though in general Bus Eireann issued annuals are not valid for the promotion

As of today Bus Eireann is now part of the taxsaver brand so the ticket is certainly valid

Apologies for resurrecting an old thread if something about this has been posted more recently, but this is all I found when I searched the forum.

I hold an annual Dundalk-Belfast ticket and am thinking of travelling from Dundalk to Dublin tomorrow. Is the "taxsaver" loyalty scheme still in operation? If so, how would I buy such a ticket and how much would it cost? I plan to return to Dundalk tomorrow evening, but don't want to commit to a particular train for the return journey. I can't see any relevant information on either the Irish Rail or Taxsaver website.

On another matter, the Irish Rail website shows an off-peak return fare of €19.50, which is "available between 10:00hrs and 15.30hrs and after 19.00hrs Monday to Saturday on all services". My outward journey would be between 10:00 and 15:30 but does that mean I couldn't return from Dublin with such a ticket until the 19:00 or 20:50 train?

Taxsaver discount was withdrawn many months ago

Off peak is limited to the published terms

You could also look at booking online which could be cheaper again
