8 coach train sets used during the day
I notice the other day at 8 car 29000 going to Maynooth leaving Pearse with no more than 5 people on the train.
I counted 1 person in the last 4 carriages. Can these trains not be split into 4 sets and would help save some money. |

Numerous trains return with over a thousand on board. It's no fair to judge loadings at Pearse given Tara and Connolly are equally busy.
Irish Rail do have a serious problem with efficency. Many off peak services would be fine with just a 2 coach.
